Raphael Kofi Boadu known professionally as Ophonzy, is a musician from Ghana.
Early life and Education
Ophonzy has his father Joseph Kofi Boadu from Ajumako Besease, a sub of the Western region and mother from Grace Teki Martey also from Teshie in the Greater Accra region of Ghana. He was raised up in the Greater Accra region.
Ophonzy started his basic school education at New Achimota Presby School in the year 2012 and completed in 2015.
Afterward, he then had admission into Teshie Technical Training Centre where he had his senior high school education and completed it in the year 2018.
Music career and endorsements
Ophonzy started learning music at a tender age by playing instruments in the church (drums, keyboard, etc). He began to learn how to write music at the age of 13 and started doing music officially in 2020.
Ophonzy’s first song titled “The Hustle” was released in August 2020. Afterwards, he released an anthem song titled “Free Souls” for a group he joined after school.
He later released his second song in October 2021. Since then, all he does is to perform at small events and celebrity shows.
Personal life and business
Ophonzy is an easy-going person who loves to be around anybody. He is currently a professional musician and an entrepreneur.
